Murray Rose Malabar Magic Ocean Swim
The Malabar Magic raises vital funds for Rainbow Club Australia, a registered non-profit charity that helps children with disabilities learn to swim and be safe in the water.
The Magic is a featured event on the OceanSwims calendar and the Fine Ocean Swimmers Series, and offers a two swim program: 1km which starts at 9.00am and 2.4km which starts at 10.00am.
Malabar is a sheltered bay in Sydney’s east, with the start and finish on Malabar Beach. The course is indicated by marker buoys, and the swim is suitable for beginners who have adequately trained for this event.
This annual event is named after the great Australian Olympian Murray Rose. The swim’s name reflects the esteem which Rainbow Club Australia has for its former patron and one of the inaugural founders of this Ocean Swim.
The Magic is all about enjoying a swim and fundraising for Rainbow Club. So register for 'The Magic', create a fundraising page and get training!
All information is listed on this site to help you get started - so challenge your friends, work colleaugues and family to join in on the fun day and help us reach our fundraising goal.
See you at 'The Magic'!
